The FBI sets its sights on Maduro’s regime.

In addition to the notable military buildup in the Caribbean, with clippings hinting at potential ground maneuvers in Venezuela, various branches of the U.S. government are actively seeking to dismantle the reign of Nicolás Maduro, known infamously as ‘the butcher of Caracas.’

Efforts by the Treasury and the Department of Justice are also aimed at counteracting the global operations of organized crime networks linked to Maduro’s government.

According to a report by Fox News:

“The FBI has indicted two individuals associated with a purported money-laundering scheme connected to the children of Venezuelan dictator Nicolás Maduro.”

This crackdown follows a protracted investigation initiated in 2019 by the FBI’s Miami Field Office, which discovered that Arick Komarczyk was opening U.S. bank accounts for Maduro’s family and their associates. Suspicious Activity Reports suggest that Komarczyk allegedly received wire transfers from various entities in Venezuela—indicating a clear breach of financial regulations.”

The duo, Komarczyk and his associate, Irazmar Carbajal, reportedly facilitated the movement of $100,000 in suspected sanctioned funds linked to Maduro’s regime into the United States.

Of this amount, approximately $25,000 made its way into U.S. accounts.

Kash Patel, an FBI official, remarked on the implications of these money-laundering activities, labeling them as ‘criminal lifelines’ for a crumbling dictatorship.

“Nicolás Maduro is not merely a garden-variety corrupt leader; he is an indicted narcoterrorist with a $50 million bounty on his head from the U.S. Department of Justice,” Patel asserted in an exclusive statement to Fox News Digital. “The laundering operations underpinning his regime are nothing more than lifelines keeping a defunct dictatorship afloat. Under my leadership, this FBI will systematically dismantle every financial artery of his operation. America will never serve as a refuge for Maduro’s ill-gotten gains.”
