Attorney General Pam Bondi faced a looming deadline of September 30 to indict former FBI Director James Comey over allegations of false statements made during his Senate testimony on September 30, 2020. As fate would have it, the five-year statute of limitations runs out on the same day.

Kash Patel, the current FBI Chief and a prominent figure in the narrative of the Russiagate saga, took to Twitter shortly after the indictment was announced.
